Exterior view of Texas Governor's Mansion from the northeast, showing the east elevation with screened porch, the north elevation, flag pole, carraige house, and snow-covered grounds. The Greek Revival style mansion, located at 1010 Colorado Street, was built by Abner Cook in 1855 and has been continuously occupied since 1856. It was designated a Texas historic landmark in 1962 and national historic landmark in 1970. This image bears the inscription "Photo Ellison Austin" in the lower right corner.
