View of the Night Hawk restaurant on Guadalupe Street near UT. It was rebuilt in the 1950s with a state-of-the-art kitchen, banquet rooms, and a distinctive angular roof. This location was in operation until 1980.

Group portrait of the Nighthawk restaurant staff. They wear uniforms and stand in front of the restaurant. The woman in the middle, behind the two women at center, is Violet Franklin Sanders.

A number of customers are seated around the counter at the Night Hawk diner. There are two waiters at the counter with bow ties and paper hats and you can see the cooks on the other side of a silver drink dispenser.
