Exterior view of Union Depot on Congress Avenue. Property of I. and G.N Railroad. The depot was built on December 28, 1976 and eventually demolished in 1950.

Exterior view of Austin’s newly built depot for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. A worker in overalls walks with a wheelbarrow near the tracks. A group of suited men stand under the portico. Two construction vehicles and a pickup truck are at the station.

1949-08

The last Eagle passenger train to pass through Austin. The train stops at the Austin International and Great Northern Railroad depot in Austin. There are no passengers waiting on the platform.
