Photographs documenting the Bouldin Creek Fence Mural Project. "Roger Collier and I had a local artist Kaci Beeler KaciBeeler.com create it as a gift the Bouldin Creek neighborhood so we could all have some art and beauty in these trying times, and to support local art. As a bonus we all shared a lovely day watching it being painted and about twenty neighbors stopped by and said they loved it. As a bonus Roger and I got to play with Kaci’s new puppy. We ordered curbside food from Phoebe’s Diner and ate at a picnic table in the back yard while we practiced safe distancing. It was a lovely day. That Roger and me in the pictures with the grey hair, and Kaci is holding her puppy Moony." - Brenda H. Collier

PJ Raval interviewed by UT Austin student Brian Choi about his identity as a queer Filipino-American, his career as a filmmaker, and his experience living in Austin since 2000. The interview starts with PJ describing the unique queer culture in Austin from the 2000s onward in comparison to cities like San Diego. Raval then discusses the complications that follow increased representation of queer identities in media. Then, he recalls his upbringing as a son of Filipino American immigrants and how perceptions of gender identity and sexuality in the Philippines compares to the United States. PJ then discusses his career as a filmmaker and professor at UT Austin. The conversation then moves to PJ's work organizing QueerBomb, an alternative pride march in Austin.
