In compiling this map, Mr. Pope was assisted in the scrutiny of the official records by Mr. D. Gracy, of the firm of Bergen, Daniel & Gracy, than whom (by his position as both Land Agent and late Assistant County Clerk) there is not a more competent authority on the subdivision and partition of Austin city property."
