From Gilligan "From being each other’s “one that got away,” to long distance dating, to moving to TX from two states, to now- the pandemic... nothing could keep us from marrying each other! It was stressful and emotional after every CDC announcement on gathering restrictions. When for months our wheels had been on wedding-planning-mode, it’s hard to step back and have a reality check that there’s a pandemic happening. Thank goodness for the magical and positive attitudes of our family and friends! We are so grateful that we’re safe, will still be able to have the wedding we had been planning later in the year (hopefully), and can laugh about how we had a wedding during the pandemic of 2020! It was such an honor to be married by my Dad in my parents living room (gorgeously decorated by my Mom) and had our immediate family watching Live through Facebook. Toasts were made via FaceTime and our amazing photographer @addisonstudios captured all the intimate DIY details! It’s not what we had originally planned, but we’re so happy that we can now call each other husband and wife! Thank you for this opportunity to share our Pandemic story! Love, Jennifer & Kevin Gilligan"
