Group portrait in front of the Texas German And English Academy, later Bickler School. The school was located at 208 West 14th Street. There is an inscription on the back of the photograph that reads "On June 12, 1881, I was born in the south west upstairs bedroom. This building is located at 208 W. 14th St. Mah H. Bickler."

Photograph of students in front of the Austin Home Institute girls' dormitory. Writing on back reads: " The girls' dormitory at the Austin Home Inst. that was on E. 12th. All buildings were burned and this is the only picture that I had of the school. Eleanor Digger Middleton. I was in this dorm. from 1891 finished in 1893."

Group portrait of several women, presumably students and a teacher, on the steps of the Eliza Dee Industrial Home. Part of the Samuel Huston campus, The Eliza Dee Industrial Home for girls opened in 1904 across the street from the campus. In addition to teaching domestic skills and developing Christian character, it housed fourteen (probably as many as 20-25) girls.
