Exterior view of Texas Governor's Mansion from the east, showing the east elevation with open balcony, front walk with urns, dirt street, curb, and unfenced grounds with carriage house visible in the background. The Greek Revival style mansion, located at 1010 Colorado Street, was built by Abner Cook in 1855 and has been continuously occupied since 1856. It was designated a Texas historic landmark in 1962 and national historic landmark in 1970.
