Title
Description
Date

Exterior view of a house at 200 W. 2nd Street. It has two covered porches and an octagonal tower on the right side. This house was reputedly a brothel in "Guy Town" run by Georgia Fraser. A mostly illegible inscription is written across the upper left of the image. She even hosted a “Hooker’s Ball” in 1896, using a public hall to lure hundreds of young men for an evening of untold debauchery. Fraser's was one of the last houses of "ill repute" to close.
