Scope and Content: For a century, the Austin Public Library has been a cornerstone of learning, connection, and possibility. This collection documents the library’s centennial celebration, featuring materials gathered during History Harvest events held throughout the year at multiple Library locations. History Harvests offered activities that invited community members to contribute to the branch’s historical record, including: storytelling; digitizing photos and ephemera; identifying people in scrapbooks; and memory sharing through written prompts. These items shared by the community reflect their vital role in shaping the library’s history and future.

Restrictions: Open to all users.
