Emilio Carranza was a Mexican "Ace" who was killed in an accident in New Jersey. Officials from city and state governments as well as the Austin Chamber of Commerce met the train.

The last Eagle passenger train to pass through Austin. The train stops at the Austin International and Great Northern Railroad depot in Austin. There are no passengers waiting on the platform.
